Josh VanBrocklin Gets Second Place Finishes at Mohawk Raceway Opener and Can Am Motorsports Park

With a pair of events lined up this past weekend, Josh VanBrocklin and the VanBrocklin Motorsports team were hoping to back to their winning ways of 2011, where he won nine times, and earned the Can am Sportsman championship.  This year has a little different feel, racing weekly at Mohawk International Raceway, and racing as much as possible at Can Am.

With Mohawk International Raceway hosting their season opener on Friday night, VanBrocklin was anxious to make his return.  His only other previous visit to Mohawk resulted in a win last September in the DIRTcar Sportsman Series.  He started the night off by posting the second fastest speed in opening practice, and then won his qualifying heat race... ..[read more]
